These are tiny little dynamites of pure awesomeness! If you like crunchy and/or spicy things, you are going to LOVE these Spicy Roasted Chickpeas (a.k.a. Garbanzo Beans)! They take just minutes to make and are a super healthy alternative to junkie chips.

INGREDIENTS
— 2 (15 ounce) cans of garbanzo beans
— 2 tablespoons coconut oil (melted)
— 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
— 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
— 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS
— Preheat oven 400 degrees ferinheight
— Drain garbanzo beans (chickpeas)
— Add all ingredients in mixing bowl
— Toss garbanzo’s until evenly coated
— Lay garbanzo’s evenly on baking sheet
— Bake until crispy, 30-40 minutes

Why do we care so much about other peoples progress and success more than our own? Think about it. At various stages in our lives, we all spend some amount of time competing with others. But what we don’t do enough of is measure and recognize our own progress and success. We don’t give ourselves enough credit for our self investment, work ethic, actions and results. Instead, we beat ourselves up because we’re not _________ (you fill in the blank). 🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹

One of my favorite dishes to make — Roasted Spaghetti Squash with Rosemary, Shallots and Parmesan. Serve with Turkey Meatballs, Crab Cakes or any meat option of your choice. 

STEP 1 — INGREDIENTS😋😋😋
✅—1 medium spaghetti squash (3 lbs)

STEP 1 — INSTRUCTIONS😋😋😋
✅—Preheat oven to 375 degrees
✅—With knife, prick squash all over
✅—In baking pan roast 1 hr 20 mins 
✅—When cool, halve lengthwise 
✅—Carefully remove all seeds 
✅—Scrape squash into long strands 

STEP 2 — INGREDIENTS😋😋😋
✅—1 tbsp coconut oil (preferred)
✅—2 med shallots, diced finely 
✅—2 tsp of freshly minced garlic 
✅—1 tsp of chopped fresh rosemary ✅—6 cups roasted spaghetti squash 
✅—2 tbsp of grated parmesan
✅—black pepper to taste

STEP 2 — INSTRUCTIONS😋😋😋
✅—In large skillet, melt coconut oil
✅—Add shallots, garlic & cook (sweat)
✅—Add rosemary & cook until fragrant
✅—Add squash & toss all ingredients
✅—Stir in parmesan & black pepper

Rarely do any of us eat enough fresh fruits 🍒 and vegetables 🍆; instead, we reach for what’s quick and easy which means packaged food and fast food 🍟— which have been so over-processed that their nutrients have long been destroyed 😱. The reality is, we’re running our bodies on empty 😵. #FitFam, WE NEED MORE FUEL — GOOD FUEL ⛽️. Not empty-calorie junk.

Who knew that breakfast smoothies like this Morning Berry Smoothie could have so much fuel and power?!! 👊 In just 7 days, I have lost 2 pounds and have had more energy than I know  to so with! ⭐️CHECK IT OUT MY BLOG WWW.FITWASTED.COM. In the busy lives that we lead…
It’s easy to not recognize the amazing progress we’ve made. It’s easy to lose focus because of the results we’re “not getting”. It’s easy to quit because of the obstacles that we face. 

We must realize that WE are our biggest excuse. WE are our largest roadblock. WE are too distracted from what matters most. The scale won’t tell you how amazing you are! The scale won’t tell you how beautiful you look! The scale won’t admire you for your determination!!! 

Why do we continue to search for validation of beauty and acceptance on the scale??? PEOPLE…progress is progress and it can’t be determined by a number. Every drop of sweat counts! Every sore muscle counts! Every healthy choice COUNTS!!! Stop focusing on the number and start focusing on YOU and the PROGRESS you’ve made each day.

— Wake up with determination & go to bed with satisfaction.
— Never wake up with regret.
— Do all things with intention & purpose.
— We are a reflection of our actions.
